Rainfall forecast for the second half of the week may raise the water levels of small rivers
Water levels in rivers are mainly at levels normal for the season. From Friday onward, extensive and heavy rain fronts will move across the country, which may raise the water levels of rivers and lakes, especially in the regions of Northern Ostrobothnia, Kainuu and Koillismaa. However, water levels are not expected to reach flood levels.
